Legacy Giving

Leave a Lifesaving Legacy

Through our legacy giving program, you can make a difference and secure a better future for cats in need. When you leave a legacy gift to Loving Care Cat Rescue, you become part of the LCCR family, ensuring that homeless cats and kittens know love, safety, and compassion not only today, but far into the future.  There are many ways that you can make a current or future gift to save homeless kitties.

  • Wills and Trusts – Making a gift through your will or revocable living trust is a simple and flexible way to save the lives of homeless cats for years to come.
  • Donations In Lieu of Flowers – When planning your final arrangements, communicate your desire for donations to LCCR in lieu of flowers for those wishing to honor your memory.
  • Retirement Assets – A gift of your retirement assets from your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension, or other tax-deferred plan is an excellent way to help kitties for years to come.
  • Life Insurance – You can name LCCR as a primary life insurance beneficiary or as a contingent beneficiary should your other beneficiaries not survive you.
  • Charitable Gift Annuity – A charitable gift annuity translates into tax savings, secures your retirement by receiving reliable annual income, and supports the future of LCCR kitties.
  • IRA Distribution – A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals, 70½ years old or older, to donate to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking the required minimum distribution without, which increases the individual’s taxable income.

Founded in 2016, Loving Care Cat Rescue is an independent non-profit organization, made up entirely of volunteers and funded by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations. Legacy gifts play a significant role in allowing us to care for thousands of pets in our community. Thank you for including LCCR in your estate plan!
