Other Rescues

Loving Care Cat Rescue’s reputation for its care and placement of kitties means that we receive an overwhelming number of requests from individuals and other rescue organizations to take abandoned, unwanted cats and kittens into the rescue.  It is an ongoing challenge to accommodate the many requests that we receive on a daily basis. We do the best we can with our limited financial and volunteer resources, but often our resources are stretched beyond capacity.  If our rescue is full, we refer individuals to a variety of other rescue organizations listed below.  We also work to educate individuals on steps they can take to help kitties in need, even temporarily, until more suitable situations are found.  Many communities are facing a crisis when it comes to the number of homeless cats and kittens.  It takes all of us working together to help these poor defenseless creatures, who for no fault of their own, are living on the streets.
