Chester

Chester wears many hats. Love bug. Attention-seeker. Local criminal. He was not shy in his foster home, and has grown ever more comfortable in his forever home. At his foster home, Chester made sure to welcome his soon-to-be adopter, Miles, with his best behavior. He greeted Miles at the door, and shortly after, made a space for himself in their lap. When it came time to go to his forever home, Chester jumped right in the carrier and began swatting at other cats who tried to come near. He knew what he wanted and made sure it would happen.

At home, Chester is in charge. When he’s not watching the birds from his comfortable window seat, or sitting in the center of any social gathering, Chester is looking for shoes to steal — the hobby that has earned him his criminal reputation. While the crime rate at his home has increased since his arrival, so has the affection.

“The best thing is he greets me at the door everyday, so I know I’m coming home to someone who’s excited to see me,” Chester’s owner said. “And I’m excited to come home to him and hang out with my buddy.”
