Intake origin: Mifflintown Pa, Good Samaritan requested help from LCCR

Wound: Left face, cavernous with jaw visible, etiology unknown. Trauma vs abscess. Surgical sharp debridement done 3/12/24 by Veterinarian at a TNR clinic to remove non-viable tissue. Wound dimensions at start of wound therapy 2.5 x 5.5 x 2 cm. Wound bed with red tissue, bone. Moderate serosanguineous drainage. Periwound is intact and clipped s/p surgical debridement.

Wound Treatment dates: Initiated 3/12/24, Completed 5/14/24- 62 days

Wound care products utilized:
– Vashe wound cleanser (Hypochlorous Acid 0.033%) at every dressing change
– Altrazeal Transforming Powder: weekly applications x 9
– Prisma collagen matrix with ORC and silver applications x 3

Outcome: Wound Resolution-100% healed via granulation and contraction
