Iris

Iris was discovered wandering around outside for no one knows how long. Some trappers managed to capture her, and to their surprise, Iris was incredibly friendly, much more amiable than any stray cat they’ve encountered! They knew she had a chance at finding a family, and thus began Iris’ journey. 

Iris came to Loving Care Cat Rescue in the hopes of finding a potential family. Although her past was unknown, she already had a strong affiliation to humans and other cats. The problem was finding the right humans. She had the most endearing personality, and it was still difficult to find a fit. 

Luck finally found her one day, when Iris met a human who would change her life forever. A connection was formed the minute she saw her soon-to-be adopter. After the adoption process was finished, Iris went straight to her new home, and she knew it was HER home. Within 24 hours, the gray cat explored the entire apartment from head to toe, uncovering every nook and cranny she could find. When she found out that she had a new feline sister, she couldn’t contain herself. She had to make friends immediately! Her sister wasn’t too keen at first, but uncertainty changed to nose-kisses really quickly for these two. Now they can never stand to be apart. 

“Iris has already brought us so much love and joy, and we are so happy she’s a part of our family,” says Iris’s new owner. “She is the sweetest little thing.”
